1. What is ActivTrax?
ActivTrax is a virtual workout partner that:
• Creates a custom resistance training workout
• Records your fitness progress
• Assists you in meeting your nutritional goals
• Tracks your Cardio activity performed with a Polar Heart Rate monitor
2. How do I enroll and Activate my ActivTrax account?
• Starting January 6th, visit us at the service desk, we’ll jot down your information, and book your activation appointment. Voila, you’re enrolled.
• You’ll then meet with one of our experienced personal trainers who will guide you through a 5-15 minute strength test to assess your physical capabilities. From there, we’ll activate your ActivTrax account. Your first workout will be printed out for you at that time.
3. What do I do if I do not know how to perform an exercise?
An animation of most exercises can be viewed from the ActivTrax in-house kiosk. The animation can be viewed after clicking Print My Workout from the kiosk home page.
4. How do I print my workouts?
Click the “Print My Workout” icon and following the on-screen instructions.
5. How do I enter the results of my workout?
Click the “Enter My Workout” icon and following the on-screen instructions. You can enter detailed reps and weights or you can use the quick entry form by clinking the “Use Quick Entry” icon.
6. Can I access my Activtrax workouts from home or my mobile device?
Yes, to access your ActivTrax information including workout and nutrition journals from home go to www.activtrax.com. To access it from your mobile device go to http://activtrax.com/m
7. How do I upload my workout information from my Polar Heart Rate Monitor at the kiosk?
Remove your watch and place it face down directly on top of the flow link transmitter at the kiosk. If aligned appropriately, a green light will appear which signifies that the data is transferring. Follow the instructions to add your cardio activity.
8. Do I need to have a Polar Heart Rate Monitor to use ActivTrax?
No, Activtrax will still create a custom strength training routine as well as provide you access the online food journal.
9. Do all Polar Heart Rate Monitors work with ActivTrax?
No, please discuss your options with a personal trainer. However, all of the Polar watches sold in the pro shops at the New Hope and Doylestown locations will work with ActivTrax.
10. Do I use the same user name and password to sign into my account from home?
Yes!
